Well, not really vigilantes. But if you can identify this robber, Louie's Pizza will give you free pizza for a year!
Louie's Pizza in Colorado Springs shared security footage on Facebook of a robber who stole money from the establishment's cash register just before 4 a.m. on Saturday, October 14.
The minute-long video shows a man breaking through Louie's Pizza front door and storming in to steal the register. Lucky for the restaurant (not so much the criminal), he walked away empty-handed, as the register was empty. Louie's Pizza said in a comment, "The cash register was definitely empty but let's make this guy famous for his efforts ... This isn't the first time Louie's Pizza was the target for some pretty stupid crime. About two years ago, the pizza joint posted another security footage video asking help from the people to catch the perp. This time, a man came in to pick up a pizza, but ended up taking money from the store's tip jar. Hopefully now, with this new video, Colorado Springs criminals will think twice before robbing Louie's, because they know they'll be caught on candid camera.

A store manager told the Colorado Springs Gazette that the free pizza has yet to be claimed as of Monday, October 16. Anyone with information as to who this might be, call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
