Our Colorado bears are something else. One Vail resident captured video of a bear sauntering through her home, stopping to bang out a few notes on the piano.

It's almost like it knew what it was doing. The May 31 security footage shows a black bear casually passing by the piano and seemingly becoming momentarily distracted by the teal-colored piano bench cover. It stops and leans on the piano for a few clashing notes before continuing its exploration through the Vail condominium. [embed]https://youtu.be/EiQU4_9-nOk[/embed] It looks VERY comfortable in its new environment, doesn't it? Luckily, the homeowner was not at home at the time. Finding thing askew upon her return, the unidentified woman originally called the police to report a break-in. After inspecting the "crime scene," however, police suspected it may have been an animal -- not a human burglar. The woman's home security camera footage later confirmed their theory. Police believe the black bear entered the home through an open kitchen window. It also stole food from the woman's freezer. Since the culprit has not yet been located, all local residents are encouraged to keep windows and doors tightly secured. Of course, maybe with all the bear activity recently, that should just be everyone's modus operandi from here on out!

This crazy bear in Steamboat Springs likes doughnuts!
