Look forward to changing your clocks twice a year for daylight savings!

You can count on changing your clocks twice a year after last night's decision by the House. The House Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Resources Committee on Monday voted 8-5 against the House Bill 1226. The bill's purpose was to make daylight savings time permanent, which for some was good news. daylight savings time The committee members were in favor with the ski industry on this decision. The ski industry was against the bill because of safety concerns and specific routine checks that take place at certain times of the day, along with concerns about the change affecting tourism. This isn't the first time in Colorado that daylight savings time was on track to end. In 2011 and 2013, lawmakers attempted to end it but it proved unsuccessful once again. Looks like that extra hour of sleep lost will permanently affect us. Instead of daylight savings ending (since that clearly didn't work), how about we make the day after we change the clocks a national holiday so you have an excuse to not come into work? Let's pass this, what do you think?
