While many may not have had a white Christmas, winter storm Helena is bringing cold, snow, and extremely wintery weather.

Winter Storm Helena has been hitting the uppermost part of the west and is making her way down to Colorado. After weeks of asking “where’s the snow!?” to the winter weather gods, they are bringing it in full force. Areas of the Sierras, South Eastern Idaho, and Salt Lake City have already been hit by the storm and are currently under winter storm warnings. Winter Storm Helena is creeping her way over to the Centennial State, and finally past the mountains. Bringing snowfall and chilly winter weather Wednesday and Thursday (January 4 & 5). You may have already felt the chill as temperatures dropped late yesterday afternoon, especially after that unseasonably warm Friday.
