Colorado is full of hiking trails, outdoor concert venues, ski resorts, and so much more that there's always something to do. But are there times when you feel like you've done everything there is to do in Colorado? Worry not, as there are many other states to apply the skills you've learned as a Coloradan—including the aforementioned hiking and skiing—and have a great time doing it!

We've identified three must-visit states if you're looking for more outdoor adventures!

Montana

Montana shares almost all the geographical traits and activities that Colorado possesses. From National Parks to the Rocky Mountains, Coloradans will feel at home during a visit to Montana. This state may be missing the ever-so-beloved 14ers, but there are still plenty of mountains to summit. There are also quite a few hot springs to be enjoyed as well! In the winter, there is some excellent skiing to indulge in. Lastly, scenic photography is a cornerstone of Montana's culture!

Wyoming

Another similar state is Wyoming. Wyoming is a lot more rural when compared to Colorado. You can ski, hike, fish, climb, and more! Western culture is very prevalent in the "Cowboy State." Coloradans looking for more of that, won't be disappointed in Wyoming!

Oregon

Much like Colorado, Oregon is filled with folks who like to stay active! Oregon may get lots of rain, but it keeps everything green and beautiful! One thing you can get in Oregon that you can't in Colorado is the beach! Enjoy the ocean in Oregon, while also doing some familiar Colorado activities. Oregon is a must-visit for any Coloradan.

Are there any other states us Coloradans should visit? Let us know! Happy travels!
