The big debate starts again; Which ski season pass is right for you?
Living in Colorado definitely has its perks. The first is being just 2-4 hours away from some of the world's best skiing! Unfortunately though, the price of skiing continues to rise, making it almost impossible to ski without a season pass. Luckily for you, I've compiled all of the possible passes out there (most expensive to least expensive) so you can decide which has the most value to you.
Vail Resort's Epic Pass consists of unlimited access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Wilmot, Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton, and Arapahoe Basin. This does come at a hefty price of $859, $50 more than last years 2016-17 ski season pass price.
Don't want to hurt the checkbook but still want some of the benefits of the Epic Pass? The Epic Local Pass could be for you. For just $639, you can have unlimited skiing at Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Breckenridge. You will also get 10 days at Vail, Whistler (new next season), and Beaver Creek.
Up next is the Rocky Mountain Super Pass for $529! You get unlimited skiing at Winter Park, Eldora, and Copper Mountain with six days at Steamboat and 3 days at Crested Butte. Last year's price was $499, meaning you better get your pass this year before prices skyrocket!
Last is the Mountain Collective Pass. This includes resorts such as Telluride, California's Mammoth Squaw ski areas, and Aspen Snowmass for two days at 16 resorts at $399.
