BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) - Two residents were displaced after a structure fire on Sunday.

The Bridgeport Fire Department responded to the area of 185 Seeley Street.

Upon arrival, authorities found smoke billowing from the second-floor windows of a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame house.

Firefighters quickly launched an aggressive interior attack, bringing the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes.

A coordinated response from additional fire units supported the effort.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office.

The American Red Cross stepped in to assist two adults displaced by the fire.

Fire officials are continuing to assess the damage as the investigation progresses.
