HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WAFF ) - Alabama A&M dominated on both sides of the football Saturday afternoon, in a 56-12 win over SWAC opponent Bethune-Cookman, earning their first conference win of the season.

The Bulldogs tallied over 700 yards of total offense and held the Wildcats to under 200 yards.

Senior quarterback Xavier Lankford had another solid effort completing 15 of 24 passing, 315 yards through the air, added 80 yards rushing with 4 total touchdowns.

AAMU heads into a bye week this week in preparation for the Magic City Classic on October 26 against rivals Alabama State.
