A body was found in the water by a boat ramp in Annapolis on Friday, officials said in a news release.

Officials said they found a body in the water near the Truxtun boat ramp. The Annapolis Police Department is currently investigating.

The body appears to be that of an adult male, but the Medical Examiner's Office will work to determine the cause of death and a positive identification, officials said.
