ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Giving Tuesday is an international holiday to support charitable organizations, but some people will be looking to take advantage of your generosity.

The Giving Tuesday organization found most people are donating to charities online, many through a couple of taps on their cell phone.

Many organizations now send texts asking for donations, but if you haven’t previously given that organization your contact info, it may be a scam.
