OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Sunday could be the last mild day we see for a while as cold arctic air starts coming in on Monday. Highs will be in the lower to mid 50s. Winds will start out calm then increase by late afternoon from the north. Breezy north winds will stick around through all day Monday where gusts could reach 20-25 mph.

There’s also still a chance for isolated snow showers early Monday morning. The impact still looks to be little to none so traveling should be fine.

The cool down comes with a more unsettled pattern as well... snow chances are in the forecast ahead of Thanksgiving and we could see some regional travel impacts. We may see some local travel impacts also if this system’s track shifts at all. As of now, the chances of snow on Wednesday is LOW.

Once the snow chance passes Wednesday, arctic air will be coming in on the holiday. It will stick around through next weekend with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Lows will be in the teens. Stay on top of the forecast if you have plans to drive.
