MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — St. Bonaventure transfer guard Chance Moore is the latest player to commit to play for new WVU head Coach Ross Hodge in a span of two weeks. Moore offered his commitment to play for the Mountaineers Thursday evening. Last season at SBU, Moore averaged 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Moore previously played at Arkansas and Missouri State before arriving at St. Bonaventure. He played in just five games as a freshman at Arkansas prior to transferring to Missouri State. In his second season with the Bears, Moore scored 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds in their season opener at West Virginia. Troy transfer Jackson Fields, Chattanooga transfer Honor Huff, North Texas transfer Brenen Lorient, UNC-Wilmington transfer Harlan Obioha and incoming freshman DJ Thomas have officially signed to be members of Hodge’s first recruiting class. North Texas transfer Jasper Floyd has also committed to play at West Virginia.
