WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Kansas college football teams were humbled on Saturday. Kansas blew a late lead in a loss at West Virginia, and K-State couldn’t find its way into the end zone while losing big to BYU. Meanwhile, the Royals were swept at home by the Giants, scoring one run in the process. Kansas City is barely hanging onto an American League Wild Card spot with less than a week to play. The Chiefs saved their win and the weekend with a fourth-down stop that allowed them to prevail Sunday night against the Falcons.
