A second man is facing charges in connection to of Williamsburg County.Derrick Marquise Cantey, 30, of Columbia, was charged Tuesday with voluntary manslaughter, according to the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office. , from Hemingway, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection to the shooting, the sheriff's office announced Monday.Deputies were called to the Hemingway Apartments on Daisy Lane on April 26 in reference to a shooting. On arrival, they said they found an unnamed individual who had been shot who later died from their injuries.Deputies said the victim was a bystander in the parking lot when a physical altercation broke out between Cantey and Mills. During the altercation, the pair struggled for possession of a firearm that Mills brought out, according to the sheriff's office.During the struggle, the gun went off, resulting in the victim being fatally shot. Deputies said the victim had no involvement with the altercation.
