PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - A cold front will continue to pass through Central Illinois this evening into tonight. Behind this front, cooler air will begin to settle into Central Illinois, brining cooler air for the second half of our weekend into early next week. Temperatures will fall from the 80’s this evening to the upper 60’s and lower 70’s Sunday, putting us back on par with our seasonal averages for this time of the year. Expect breezy conditions tomorrow with guts up to 30-35 miles per hour under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will bottom out Monday and Tuesday nights as temperatures drop into the 30’s. Both nights will bring the potential for freezing temperatures, with Tuesday featuring a better chance. Temperatures will warm back into the mid to lower 70’s later next week.
