First Birmingham, now Chicago.

The date was officially set Thursday for Illinois’ “home” matchup with Alabama in the 2025-26 season.

It will be Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the United Center.

It’s the return matchup after the Illini played in Birmingham last season, when the Crimson Tide won 100-87.

According to the program, it will be Illinois’ first non-conference regular season game at the UC since the 2017-18 season.
