HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - James Madison’s field hockey team continues their winning ways, extending their win streak to four games Sunday afternoon in a 2-1 victory over Richmond. The Dukes defense continued to keep the Spiders at bay, forcing them to just five shots on the afternoon. Now 8-2, 3-0 on the season, JMU is off to its best start since 2008, when the team opened the season 9-1. Up next, JMU resumes Mid-American Conference play Friday afternoon against Kent State at 3 p.m.
