INDIANA -26.5 (
-102 ) is laying a big number, but the Hoosiers are worth backing. IU’s offense, led by Mgbako, was just OK in the opener, perhaps shaking off a little bit of rust. Expect the offense to be more of a well-oiled machine in Game No. 2, especially against an Eastern Illinois side that was absolutely trampled in Champaign by another Big Ten team in the Illini.
UNDER 149.5 (
-105 ) is worth a look. While the Hoosiers should get their fair share of points, the Panthers are likely to struggle getting open looks against the 18th-ranked team in the country. The concern is that EIU allowed 112 points in its opener at Illinois. The Indiana offense didn’t look nearly as prolific in its first game of the season, but go lightly here.
