(Fremont County, WY) – The Eastern Shoshone Tribe Facebook page recently recognized youth hockey player Grady Eagle for his showing at the CCM Denver Hockey Tournament in September, where he received Player of the Game and the Responsibility Award. Grady, son of Amy and Chris, is an Eastern Shoshone youth who is in his freshman year at Lander Valley High School. In addition to receiving the honors at the Denver tournament, he had three goals and three assists in the four games he played. “Grady participates in the 14U AA Travel Team Wyoming Ice Hockey Association, consisting of top players from Wyoming,” the recognition post informs, and he also “plays on the Fremont County Ice Hockey Association team that competes against other associations in the state.” After seeing the recognition post, County 10 reached out Grady’s mom Amy, who shared that he also scored the game-winning goal in the championship game at the recent Freeze-Up 3v3 tournament in Pinedale.
“Grady works so hard on and off the ice. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it! Go #12!” Amy said of her son. Way to go, Grady!
