AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - FirstBank Southwest (FBSW) is hosting a toy-a-thon collection and fundraiser event to benefit the Northside Toy Drive (NSTD) on Friday.

The toy-a-thon will run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the FBSW Wolflin Banking Center located on 2401 S. Georgia.

The event will be live on NewsChannel 10’s news broadcast.

“We know some families are having a tough time and the need for Christmas assistance is even greater in our community this year,” said Elton Bradley II, founder and president for the NSTD.

Businesses and individuals are asked to bring unwrapped toys for children ages two to 12.

The NSTD plans to distribute the toys to the children in the area at its annual Toy Giveaway event on Saturday, Dec. 14.
