CLEVELAND, Ohio - Drought conditions have continued to worsen in Ohio, with dry conditions in Ohio spreading despite a few weeks of improvements and two counties in southern Ohio entering drought levels not seen in Ohio since U.S. Drought Monitor records began in 2000.

In addition, several counties in Northwest Ohio have now entered moderate drought as dry conditions continue to worsen in the bordering states of Indiana, according to this week’s U.S. Drought Monitor update, released on Thursday.
