LAFAYETTE, La. (WVUE) - The United States has some popular long-distance trails that can take months for serious hikers to complete.

Now, hiking enthusiasts have a long-distance trail that will allow them to walk from Louisiana’s northern border all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
