INDIANA, USA — While the central plains got hit with strong storms, tornadoes, and flooding rains, Indiana picked up the outer edge of rain showers, bringing healthy totals across much of the state. Just for Tuesday Election Day, it was the fifth-wettest Election Day on record for Indiana. Much of it fell in the late afternoon and evening hours, spreading east into the night.
