KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee was the No. 1 team in the nation when 2025 started. Now, they’re fighting to stay in the top 10 after three losses in their last four games, and the road ahead isn’t getting any easier with No. 5 Florida coming to town Saturday at 12 p.m. Eastern on ESPN . Several streaming services will broadcast the game live and you can watch on Fubo (free trial), DirecTV Stream (free trial) and Sling (promotional offers). Florida (18-2) handed Tennessee (17-4) its first loss of the season when the two met up in early January. The Gators won that matchup by 30, 73-43, and were the reason the Volunteers dropped from being the No. 1 seed. SEC play has not been kind to anybody. Both of Florida’s losses came in conference matchups against Mizzou and Kentucky. In addition to dropping the first matchup with the Gators Tennessee lost to Vanderbilt, Auburn and Kentucky. This will be Tennessee’s fifth of six consecutive games against Top 25 ranked opponents. Seven of the Volunteers' last 10 games, including Saturday’s matchup, are against ranked teams. The Gators are 5-2 in the SEC and currently rank third in the conference behind Auburn and Alabama, while Tennessee is 4-4 and sandwiched between Kentucky and Mississippi State. Florida’s Walter Clayton Jr. and Tennessee’s Chaz Lanier are leading their respective squads at 17.8 points per game. Each squad also has three others that average at least 10 points per game. If Tennessee wants to avoid a showing like it had in the last matchup the Volunteers will need to do a much better job rebounding on both sides of the ball. Time: 12 p.m. Eastern.
