KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knoxville Ice Bears will open the 2024-25 season with a preseason game on Friday, October 11 at 7:05 at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum against the Huntsville Havoc.

The game will be the first of two games at the Coliseum that night as the undefeated Tennessee Ice Vols will face the Florida Gators immediately following the conclusion of the Knoxville-Huntsville clash.

Training camp began Tuesday, Oct. 8. Training camp practices are closed to the public.

The team opens its regular season schedule on the road on Oct. 18 at Evansville. The home opener is set for one week later, on the 25th against Quad City with opening face off at 7:05 p.m.
