"I'm back." Nebraska running back Emmett Johnson announced he was returning to the Huskers in a video on social media . Johnson posted the video Sunday night after planning to enter the transfer portal . The Minneapolis native played in every one of Nebraska's games this season, starting four of them. He was second on the team with 102 carries, 523 rushing yards and 809 all-purpose yards. Johnson set career highs after tallying 35 catches for 262 yards and a touchdown.
