Brad Underwood doesn’t have to get ALL of his players from the Balkans.

Illinois received a commitment Wednesday night from Benet Academy point guard Blake Fagbemi.

He announced his decision on X.

Fagbemi announced in September he was committed to Division II Truman State. It’s unclear currently if Fagbemi is a walk-on or will hold a scholarship spot in 2025.

The high school senior led Benet Academy to a 4A state title in March (in a game he played at State Farm Center). According to 247, Fagbemi averaged 13 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds per game.

He joins Keaton Wagler and Brandon Lee as prep products in Illinois’ 2025 class.
