SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - On Tuesday, Sept. 17, Mayor Tom Arceneaux will tag along with the Shreveport Police Department for a “Mayor’s Field Day.”

Cpl. Chris Bordelon says the mayor will be shown around some of SPD’s facilities, meet new recruits, and pay respects at the 40th Anniversary of the Dixie Cold Storage Fire Ceremony.

Bordelon says the goal is to share changes, new ideas and problem areas with Arceneaux so he can be aware and provide assistance where he can.
