STARKVILLE, Miss. (WLBT) - Mississippi State women’s soccer continues to make history after an unforgettable season on the pitch. After being crowned the regular season SEC Champions for the first time in the program’s history, the Bulldogs received a number-one ranking in the TopDrawerSoccer Poll. State was ranked No. 2 by the United Soccer Coaches Poll and sits at No. 3 in the NCAA Soccer RPI rankings. State is 51-1 overall and is undefeated in conference play thus far, boasting a 9-0 record. The Bulldogs have kept 15 clean sheets and have conceded just four goals all season. MSU Soccer has seen a record attendance this season as well, with 2,867 fans at their last home match against Kentucky.
