(Fremont County, WY) – A reported Verizon outage is currently affecting customers nationwide today, September 30, with local customers in Fremont County and in Wyoming reporting a service interruption as well.The outage is reportedly affecting millions of customers as of 9 AM MT, with most customers beginning to experience issues about two hours ago.Some reports have shared that “phones were stuck in SOS mode while others said they have data bars, but they still can’t receive any (incoming) or outgoing calls and texts.”At this time there has been no official response from Verizon as to the cause and duration of the outage, with no statements having been released or shared on their website or social media pages.In addition to attempting to reach out to Verizon, folks can also report outages to the Down Detector website.County 10 will provide updates as they become available.
