BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Temperatures will warm to around average this afternoon into the mid 50s. Rain will return in the late afternoon and early evening.

TRAVEL FORECAST: If you plan on travelling today you could expect to see some rain as you head towards the west, especially in the afternoon. If you are traveling throughout the state, rain shouldn’t begin until the evening.

THANKSGIVING DAY: Tomorrow temperatures will turn colder with highs in the mid 40s. A few rain showers are possible in the morning but should clear out through the rest of the day.

COLDER WEEKEND: Temperatures turn much colder into the weekend with highs on Friday around 40 degrees. Highs for Saturday and Sunday will only reach into the mid to upper 30s. Temperatures for next week are expected to stay well below average.
