SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA)—Happy Election Day! Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures, with highs possibly reaching the lower 70s. We will see a few showers, but they will become fewer in number as the afternoon goes on. Tonight, partly cloudy skies with lows dropping into the very upper 50s for overnight lows and a few showers could hold on but they will be isolated at best. A few lingering stray showers are possible across NW LA for the morning hours of Wednesday, but overall, most of the region should look to stay pretty dry. High temperatures slightly increase into the low to mid-70s. Rain will remain a good part of the forecast still moving forward. We have a few additional rain showers around for Thursday before getting our next chance for scattered and widespread storms around Friday night and Saturday. A few more storms could linger into Sunday before it looks like dry conditions briefly return heading into Monday. High temperatures increase into the mid to upper 70s for Thursday and stay there for Friday. High then drop back down to the upper 60s and lower 70s for Saturday before returning to the mid to upper 70s by Monday.
