KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Jahmai Mashack of the University of Tennessee will serve as the chair of the 2024-25 SEC Men’s Basketball Leadership Council.
This will be Mashack’s third year as the Volunteers' representative in the group. After holding the vice chair position in 2023-24, his peers voted him as the chair this year. In addition, Mashack is the SEC’s representative on the NCAA Men’s Basketball Oversight Committee (MBOC) Student-Athlete Engagement Group for the second consecutive year.
A senior guard from Fontana, Calif., Mashack took part in UT’s VOLeaders program as a sophomore and went to the Philippines for a service and cultural immersion trip in the summer of 2023.
