WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - A batch of cold air at the earth’s surface has pushed all the way into central Texas early Tuesday evening. This has resulted in clouds and cool temperatures over Texoma today and tonight. These clouds will make the forecast for Wednesday very tricky! Clouds will linger into Wednesday, but will also break up by the afternoon. Places that see more sun than clouds will be quite warm with highs in the 70s and even 80s. In places that clouds linger, temperatures will be much cooler with highs in the 50s and 60s. Our next front arrives on Thursday. We should warm up some ahead of that front with highs in the 60s and 70s. We may cool off a little Thursday night but back up we go by Friday with highs back in the 70s and 80s. Another front arrives Saturday afternoon with much cooler/colder weather settling in for Sunday and a good part of next week. We may throw some chilly rain into the forecast early next week as well.
