ADDISON, Ill. (TNND) — A box truck explosion in Illinois injured the truck's driver and left multiple homes damaged over Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday, the Addison Police Department and Addison Fire Protection District responded to the scene at North Wood Dale Road. Crews found a large debris field, with officials noting there was no indication of any fire at that point. Ring camera footage shared to CNN by Rock Foreman, Owner of RK Rentals/TMX shows the moment the truck exploded while driving down the road. A huge booming noise was heard and debris could be seen flying in every direction. Police said the DuPage County Bomb Squad and ATF found "no indication of anything suspicious." They ruled the explosion an accident resulting from a propane tank leaking in the back of the truck. Officials confirmed the truck's driver sustained minor injuries.
