PHOENIX (AZFamily) —We’re ending February on a warm note across Arizona, with afternoon highs well above average!

You can expect a high of 82 today in the Phoenix area under sunny skies and light winds. Our average high is only 72 for this time of year.

The warmer-than-average temperatures are impacting the entire state.

In Flagstaff, we’ll see a high of 63 for your Sunday. The average high for this time of the year is only 47. By Monday, we’re forecasting a high of 67 in Flagstaff, 20 degrees above average.

Here in the Valley, temperatures will continue to warm as we start a new work week. Look for a high of 85 on Monday, 87 on Tuesday and 88 on Wednesday. Temps will stay in the upper 80s for Thursday and Friday.

As for the 90s, we’ve adjusted the forecast a few degrees, so we’re not expecting to hit 90 as we close out the month of February. We’ll keep you posted if that changes!

Conditions are expected to stay dry in the Phoenix area for the next week, but we could see a little activity in northern and eastern Arizona next weekend.
