SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Happy Monday! We are starting off Turkey week with warmer-than-average temperatures across the ArkLaTex. Today, mostly cloudy skies and highs near 80 are expected. A stray shower is possible but not very likely. Tonight, temperatures will drop into the mid-40s with partly cloudy skies.

Sunshine is back for the ArkLaTex on Tuesday, and there is very little chance of any rain. High temperatures drop into the low to mid-60s.

There’s another stray chance to catch a few rain showers on Wednesday particularly again around Natchitoches and NW LA with most of the rest of the region looking to remain dry. Dry conditions follow them from Thanksgiving all the way through the next weekend with sunshine. High temperatures go back up into the mid to upper 70s for Wednesday before dropping once again into the low to mid-60s for Thanksgiving. High temperatures could then drop a lot more into the 50s for Friday & next weekend.
