LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)—If you plan on heading to the inaugural match at the Lexington Sporting Club’s new stadium this weekend, you may run into some traffic on the way.

There’s also a traffic feature you might not be familiar with.

An RCUT was built in the area.

That means if you’re traveling to the game from Athens Boonsboro and need to turn left, you’ll have to travel through the main intersection, move to the far left lane, make a U-turn, and that should get you to the stadium on the right.

It was done to reduce traffic accidents in the area and prevent the number of vehicles from crossing paths.

So, if you’re heading to the stadium this Sunday, give yourself some extra time to navigate the RCUT changes and drive safely!
