BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - More rain/storms are on the way, but nothing severe over the next few days. Today will become mostly cloudy with an 80% chance of showers/storms, better chance in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 90s, but once the rain starts, we should drop into the 80s this afternoon.

The GRAF shows the possible timing of the storms, showing an early afternoon arrival through the evening commute.

There will be plenty of tropical moisture to feed off of the next few days.

The WPC has a two-to-three-inch swath across Baton Rouge, while the southern half of our viewing area could see four to six inches over the next seven days.

In the tropics, we still have a low chance of development on a disturbance, but everything else is quiet.

The extended forecast shows rain chances eventually decreasing, but the good news is that highs won’t be so hot moving forward.

to report a typo.
