The biggest driver of weather changes is the amount of daylight we get, plus the angle of the sun. Both are decreased. However November is the final full month of daylight losses. In late December we will start to slowly gain back daylight. The most drastic losses are farther north. Over an hour of daylight will be lost for the northern Great Lakes and the states that touch Canada. The average temperature is a little misleading because of the huge drop we come to expect. On average our highs start in the upper 50s at the start of the month. By the end of the month, expect mid 40s. There may be a chance for more precipitation in the central United States. This mostly accounts for heavy rain possible at the beginning of the month. The rest of the month is questionable. Expect stretches of dry, quiet weather, followed by a few days of clouds, showers, and rain. There is a low chance for some thunderstorms, too.
