Marion Street Tavern opened earlier this year and is quickly becoming a Denver favorite.
Marion Street Tavern has history:
Years ago Gabor’s was the prime watering hole in Denver. Many-a-memory was made there, and if not made at Garbor's, then at Garbo’s, a nearby gay bar the sports bar was often confused for. Four years ago Gabor’s was closed and sat business-less until owner Sam Roots announced the Denver favorite’s location would now be Marion Street Tavern.
It's in the perfect location:
Marion Street Tavern is located on Marion (duh) and 13th. Smack dab in the middle of everything in Capitol Hill. Less than a mile from the Capitol Building, Denver Art Museum, and tons of parks. Marion Street Tavern has a great local feel while providing a sophisticated and welcoming environment.
MST has a mouth watering happy hour:

If happy hour isn’t your thing but delicious food IS, Marion Street Tavern is the spot for you. The food is an eclectic mix of American, Mexican, Mediterranean, and everything in between. All with its own Marion Street Tavern twist. They also have great brunch options; their Truffled Grilled Cheese is the stuff of cheesy rich daydreams.
The Drinks are top notch:

Marion Street Tavern wouldn’t have its name if it weren’t for its LARGE selection of drinks. The whole ambience of Marion Street Tavern is very speakeasy & saloon-like with a prohibition vibe. With almost 50 whiskey options, 24 Vodkas, and PLENTY more local and popular options, you can have your pick of cocktails available to you.
Marion Street Tavern is open from noon to 10pm Monday - Saturday and until Midnight on Sunday. Brunches are on weekends and are shifting over to lunches as well. They also plan to have a late-night happy hour very soon.
