Pub Dog Colorado in Colorado Springs claims to be the first in the state to allow patrons to dine with their dogs!
Pub Dog Colorado opened on Monday, April 24 and 'Springs residents and their pups are quickly planning their dinner dates. This new restaurant prides itself on being the first in the state to allow their customers to eat indoors with their dogs! After about four years of planning Pub Dog Colorado is officially up and running and ready to serve you and fido! The pub has several different dining experiences which include: a 34-seat indoor restaurant that allows on-leash pups. A 1,300-square-foot patio that can accommodates 60 people and their on-leash dogs. There is also a 3,000 square foot fenced off-leash section where dogs can play while humans can enjoy their food. The turfed area will be walled off, and includes a delivery window - you know so servers don't get bombarded with pooches while they're trying to get your food to you! Also, for whatever reason Pub Dog Colorado also has a 48-seat dining hall that is "no dogs allowed" but c'mon who's going to a place called "Pub Dog Colorado" and not bring their pup?
Pub Dog Colorado has a few rules for safety's sake but you can find all of those on the Pub Dog site! To rattle off a few: No kids under the age of 16 allowed in the off-leash areas, always pick up after your own pup, and no smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises.
The menu will include typical pub food - appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. Pub Dog will also host nine Colorado craft bears on tap!
