Ice cream scoops are so 2016. Ice cream rolls are the latest in frozen dessert trends and they're here to stay!

Scooping ice cream is now a thing of the past. In its place are the latest in frozen dessert trends: ice cream rolls. Yes, rolled ice cream. Pretty cool, right? (See what we did there? Food puns for the win!) Thai-style rolled ice cream is different from its previous counterparts – it is made to order by pouring the liquid base onto a large frozen slab. Then mix-ins are added into the base as it freezes. You can add everything from Oreos to strawberries to pretzels and even cheddar cheese popcorn! Then the entire thing is spread thing over the stainless steel surface before its rolled up like Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls. Doesn't that sound delicious? Check out the video below to see how the frozen desserts are made! https://youtu.be/nnNoUZjnqkw   Plus, you can get them right here in Denver at Chaos & Cream, which sets up shop each night Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.! WHERE: Chaos & Cream | 3350 Brighton Blvd., Denver
