Summer calls for cool drinks to keep you refreshed by the pool. We've got good news - the perfect summer drink has been found! Meet Frosé.

Summer's newest, coolest cocktail is here, and you're going to love it! It's frosty, it's pink, it's absolutely delicious, and its name is Frosé. First things first, for those of you wondering, it's pronounced fro-ZAY. Essentially, it's a frozen rosé wine slushy that's sure to keep you perfectly cool and with a nice buzz all summer long.
The obvious next question I'm sure you're asking: how do I make this tasty frozen drink? You're probably thinking that you're going to use a delicate pinky rosé wine. In fact, you'll want to go with a darker, richer rosé because the color and flavor will both lighten up when you freeze it. We recommend a Malbec rosé. frosé Now that you've chosen the right wine, you're going to need a big bowl of fresh strawberries (1lb of them)! Don't panic! This is the secret ingredient that enhances the flavor and takes this from a glass of frozen wine to a sweet summer treat. Strawberries often need a bit of sugar, so you're going to add 1/2 a cup of that as well. Hey, we never said this drink was healthy or low-cal! Throw the strawberries, sugar, and 1/2 a cup of water into a blender and give it a solid spin until it's smooth and pretty. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish, mix in the rosé, and stick that bad boy in the freezer. If you want to you can strain out the strawberry solids, but there's no need to if you want to leave them. After about two or three hours, give the whole mixture a stir and put it back in the freezer. frosé Now it's time to get some appetizers ready and call some friends over, because in two more hours your Frosé will be ready to scoop! To add a little sparkle to your drinks, dip moistened rims into a bowl of sugar. frosé Congrats! You've just successfully made the perfect summer drink. Happy drinking this summer!
