Illegal Pete's, the fast-casual burrito restaurant, is set to open its 10th location in North Denver on December 28.
Illegal Pete's is growing and adding a 10th location in North Denver on the spot of the former Lou's Food Bar (1851 W. 38th Ave., Denver). It's been dubbed the "Northside" location in homage to the neighborhood's history -- the area was called Northside before being called Sunnyside/Highlands. "North Denver is a classic neighborhood that we've always wanted to be a part of," said Illegal Pete's president Pete Turner. "We are excited to grow with this community and be an integral part of the neighborhood." It's set to open on December 28, and will include its usual menu of build-your-own burritos, tacos, and bowls. There will also be a full bar with margaritas (Hello, Margarita Mondays!) and 21 beers on tap. The new Illegal Pete's location also didn't require very many renovations, other than the expansion of the patio to include just as many outside seats as there are inside seats (80 inside and 60 patio seating). Seriously, is it too early to start thinking about those warm summer days on the patio?
The crew is also currently hiring to prepare for the grand opening. Read more about how you can apply below.
