An easy-to-make Italian-inspired meal in less than 10 minutes!

I love gnocchi. Pretty much every time I go to an Italian restaurant, I order their gnocchi if they have it on their menu. Over the years, I've been no stranger to Trader Joe's easy-to-prepare versions, such as their Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, Gnocchi Al Gorgonzola, and Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Butter & Sage, to name a few.  When I saw their innovative Outside-In Stuffed Gnocchi last year, I was intrigued.

I quickly snapped up a bag for only $2.99 and made it promptly the next day. The directions are super-easy. You can either make it in the microwave or on the stove-top. Since the microwave doesn't save you that much time, I chose to "make" them on the stove. You simply heat a tablespoon of oil or butter in a saute pan, and then pour the whole bag on top. After cooking for one to two minutes, you add four tablespoons of water, cover, and cook for an additional three to four minutes.

While you don't have to add your favorite sauce, as the directions suggest, since there is a tomato sauce in the gnocchi themselves, I would still recommend it. Cook the gnocchi with the sauce for an additional one to two minutes and you're done!

Personally, I feel like you can never have enough cheese, so I topped mine with some shredded mozzarella, but that's completely up to you. The beauty of this creative bag of gnocchi is that everything is inside each soft, chewy pillow of deliciousness.

When you take a bite out of this stuffed gnocchi, you're overwhelmed with savory tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and a warm potato body. Buon appetito!
