Think you have what it takes to produce a prize-winning dessert?

'Tis the season for celebration baking. The folks at Betty Crocker will award three lucky grand prize winners a personalized cake mix box and some serious baking street cred. The best thing about this competition is that you get to start with some quality ingredients from the Betty Crocker product line.

How to Enter:

Start by purchasing a Betty Crocker baking mix that meets the contest guidelines. From here, the sky's the limit. Doctor up the mix to create a one-of-a-kind celebratory dessert and photograph the final product. Be sure to get its good side!

Send the photo along with a brief essay about the origins of the recipe and cross your fingers. Winners will be notified in mid-January 2022, with 3 grand prize winners and 25 submissions winning second place prize packages. These will include Betty Crocker merch, a limited-edition apron, baking mixes, and more.

Make sure you click here to read the contest rules—there are several requirements for both the recipe and your photo. You can be disqualified if your picture features a person, for example. Don't be disqualified for a technicality!

Submissions will be based on creativity, the connection to Betty Crocker and your personal celebrations as demonstrated in your essay, and the photo of your creation. If you or someone you know is a great baker with delicious, innovative ideas, they have until December 31, 2021, to enter this fun contest. Get out your cake pans and cookie sheets!
