Chester Cheetah is spreading his wings with a new snack just in time for the Super Bowl.
Frito Lay is switching up snacking again by adding a new product to the Cheetos line: Cheetles. Instead of getting your fingers coated with cheese from the traditional corn puffs, the new snack is made with corn in its simpler form. Cheese popcorn isn’t a new concept, but coating it with Cheetos cheese is definitely taking it to a new level. The new popcorn comes in two different varieties—regular cheese and the brand's iconic spicy Flamin’ Hot flavor.
"We've seen the way Cheetos lovers don their red- and orange-dusted fingers like a badge of honor, and we're always looking for ways to help them step up their snacking game," said Brandi Ray, senior director of marketing, Frito-Lay North America. "The only way to truly take popcorn to the next level is to add the iconic Cheetle, the cheesy dust that will entice Cheetos fans to snack on this popcorn all year long.”
This is not the first time Cheetos and popcorn have been paired together. In 2017, Regal Cinemas served Cheetos Popcorn in its theaters. Cheetos Popcorn will be available in 8-ounce and 2-ounce single-serve bags starting at $1.89.

The “Cheetles” are one of two announcements made by Lays in the snack food world this week. On January 7, the company released two new Doritos flavors: Flamin’ Hot Limon and a revamped Cool Ranch.
Flamin’ Hot Limon combines the spicy hot nacho flavor released last year with a touch of lime. Doritos took the original Cool Ranch and added more seasoning to make the iconic flavor even more powerful. Cheetos Popcorn and the new Doritos flavors are both available now at your favorite store.
