The calendar sells out quickly, so pre-order now!
It's been a long, strange year, so treat yo'self this holiday season with a gift that keeps on giving.
Alcohol subscription service Flaviar released its "Whiskies of the World" advent calendar for the first time last year, and people drank up the 24 tiny bottles of whiskeys from Scotland, Canada, Israel, and India in serious fashion. In fact, the calendar sold out by September.
So, the company is bringing it back as a present to us all for the 2020 holiday season with the chance to try something new every day.
"It took Jules Verne 80 days to travel the world, but he had a big-ass balloon and wasn’t afraid of heights. We’re smarter, so we’re doing it in 24 days while staying put and drinking Whiskey," said the Flaviar website. "Flaviar Advent Calendar will introduce you to 24 Whiskeys of all types: Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, Japanese, and Irish. Be whisked around the globe and try a new amber delight each day."
The whiskeys will include several award-winning liquors like Tennessee’s Uncle Nearest Bourbon, a new release from Compass Box, and a Kilchoman 2010 Vintage.
The rare whiskeys are just the right size for a tasting, and you also get a Flaviar Glencairn glass, plus artwork, and flavor notes for each drink.
"Think of it as your essential equipment that’ll guide you through the world of Whiskey," Flaviar said.
Currently, the Flaviar advent calendar costs $225, shipping included. The calendars will ship out in November, just in time to count down the holiday days and forget it's 2020 if only for just a few blissful minutes.
Treat yo'self. You deserve it, for real.
