Enter for a chance to win by August 7
Kraft Macaroni & Cheese—for breakfast? It may seem unusual, but these are unusual times we're living in. The food conglomerate has reported 56 percent of parents have fed their children the blue box dinner for breakfast, a number that's gone up significantly during the pandemic. To take the pressure off busy parents, Kraft has launched a campaign that's making our inner child scream: Mac & Cheese 'Breakfast Boxes'!
“As a brand loved by the entire family, we’ve learned Kraft Mac & Cheese isn’t just for dinner,” says Kelsey Cooperstein of Kraft Heinz in a statement, “A Kraft Mac & Cheese breakfast is a win-win for families at a time when they need all the wins they can get."
For the first time in their history, the company is rebranding the iconic packaging as "Breakfast" instead of "Dinner." The special branding won't appear until next year, but families can enter a special giveaway to win a "Breakfast Box" right now!
All you have to do is use the hashtag #KMCforBreakfast and #Sweepstakes on Twitter or enter on their website. In addition to making kids smile, the contest has philanthropic aims, too. Kraft will donate 10 boxes for every tweet to Feed the Children, a nonprofit focused on fighting childhood hunger, for a goal of one million boxes total!
Winners will receive a Breakfast Box loaded with all the goods for a delicious breakfast. Along with the famous mac and cheese, the prize comes with a limited-edition placemat for coloring, a magnet featuring topping recommendations (bacon, anyone?), and a mug to enjoy your breakfast in.
The giveaway runs through August 7. You can follow Kraft on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Whether you like it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there's no wrong way to enjoy mac and cheese. In the meantime, we'll be grabbing a blue box STAT.
Mac and cheese fans, what do you think of Kraft's new packaging? Will you be entering the giveaway? Let us know in the comments!
